WORKED EXAMPLE
Watch a decision become stale.
The example is fictional — not client data. At V03 / landscape-main, R001 and R008 pass. R002 lacks a location. R003 points to V02. R004 and R005 ask for opposite opening directions. R006 and R007 belong to other exact variants, even though their timecodes match R001.
- In G001, select R004. Enter “Remove the opening pause.” Add “Client decision owner” and “Illustrative email, round 3, item 1”. Record the group decision.
- The Ready edit list now has 3 edits. R005 remains visible as not selected. Four other requests are still blocked.
- Open R004 and change its proposed edit. Apply the change. G001 becomes unresolved again; both R004 and R005 return to blocked.
- For R003, inspect the actual current media yourself. Under its manual alignment, enter the new location, your role and a reference explaining the recheck. The original V02 note remains intact.
Conflicts are declared by you. The tool cannot find contradictions, listen to voice notes, read chat accounts, inspect footage, verify authority, send messages or confirm an edit has been applied. Keep review platforms or a simple document if those already fit your workflow.
Use notes and practical limits
Free prototype for one revision round: up to 60 retained requests, 20 groups and 30 history entries per record. Save a JSON snapshot before starting another round. The tool does not delete history to make room.
Target matching uses exact cut and variant IDs. “landscape-main” and “landscape-alt” remain separate even if both are 16:9. Timecodes accept MM:SS or HH:MM:SS, with optional decimal seconds; frame-based timecodes and automatic media validation are not supported.
Loading a JSON validates its shape and clears all imported alignments and group decisions. Their records move to history, and must be checked and recorded again. Direct current-target notes are reevaluated from their fields. Full history travels in the JSON, so share it deliberately.
This tool creates a manual plan. It does not establish contractual, legal, client or final-film approval. Use existing agreements and authorized review processes for those decisions. No guaranteed result, ongoing support or update schedule is promised. Existing KSB website terms and applicable rights are not changed by these operating notes.
Browser extensions, device security and the handling of files you download remain outside this tool. This is not a blanket confidentiality or security guarantee. Keep a copy of the original download; all processing functions are in the editable source package.
